CAT 2025 Registration: The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) will close the registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2025) on September 13. Interested candidates can apply on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
An application correction window will open on September 20, allowing registered candidates to edit details such as their photograph, signature, and test city preference.
CAT scores are used for admission to 21 IIMs and more than 1,000 B-schools across India. The entrance exam for MBA and management programmes will be held on November 30, 2025, in three shifts. The exam will be conducted in around 170 cities.
Applicants can choose up to five preferred centres during registration. However, the CAT authorities may assign a nearby city if demand exceeds capacity. Once a test centre is allotted, it cannot be changed.
The test will include Quantitative Ability (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC). The duration will be 120 minutes, with an additional 40 minutes for PwD candidates.
Qualifying CAT does not guarantee admission. Candidates shortlisted will also have to appear for a personal interview (PI) and a written ability test (WAT) as per the criteria set by each IIM. Factors such as Class 10 and 12 marks, graduation performance, work experience, and academic and gender diversity also play a role in final selection.
