CBSE Class 10th, 12th Supplementary Practical Exams: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 10 and Class 12 supplementary practical exams from July 10 to July 15, 2025, ahead of the theory exams. While Class 10 supplementary theory exams are scheduled from July 15 to July 22, the Class 12 exams will be held in a single day on July 15.

CBSE released a detailed set of guidelines for students and schools on July 2, outlining the process for smooth conduct of the practicals. Students have been instructed to report to their respective schools or exam centres by July 7. They must carry a copy of their mark sheet, result, and admit card. Once there, students must note the date and time of their respective practical exams and ensure timely reporting at the assigned venue.

Responsibilities of Schools and Venue Arrangements

School principals or centre superintendents are required to compile and submit a subject-wise list of students appearing for the practical exams. This will help ensure organised scheduling and assessment during the exam window.

CBSE has also clarified that the venue for the practical exams will vary depending on the type of candidate. For regular students, the practicals will be held at their own schools. In contrast, private candidates will appear for the practicals at the same exam centres assigned for their theory exams.

If any centre lacks the infrastructure to conduct a practical in a particular subject, the concerned Regional Office will arrange an alternate nearby centre to facilitate the examination. To ensure fairness, external examiners will be appointed for Class 12 by CBSE’s regional authorities, while internal examiners will be selected by the respective schools or exam centres.

Students are advised to stay in touch with their schools or centres and follow all instructions carefully to avoid any last-minute issues.
